No longer writing my own damn HTML

Clayton Ramsey, following up on his original post: “Writing my own damn HTML”:

handwriting HTML is honestly not that hard. [But it’s] harder than it had to be.

The eternal conundrum:

• Writing HTML now is harder, but maintaining it later is easier.
• Writing something else now is easier, but maintaining it later is harder.

Given the choice, I tend to think us humans are prone to taking what’s easier in the here and now.
