(On automated feeds)

I prefer to manually syndicate. I.e. copy & paste a link and write a thoughtful gist. I think scripting that would be less engaging. Personally I don’t care for automated feeds. I can’t expect others to interact with mine if I automated it.

I have to admit — and I realize I need to just get over this, I suppose — I feel this same hesitancy when others post and you can tell it’s automated (like cross-posting). It’s this feeling of, “Should I respond to this? Idk…” It’s like you can feel just a tinge of the “A robot posted this, do I respond?”
