Ten years of Overcast: A new foundation

Using whatever client software you want to access content published using open standards on the internet is the way the internet was designed to be. But it’s not the way it’s worked out, by and large.

Sad.

But not so with podcasts. Podcasts, more than any other medium, exemplify the original spirit of the open internet.

Maybe something like project tapestry could change this?

Maybe one day we’ll all be saying, “subscribe wherever you get your content”.
